Happy New Year, again, and again, and again...

The expectations were high. Tips we received upfront were: Scratch your liver from your donor card. Make sure you get a tetanus shot.  And put the training wheels back on your bike. These seemed necessary preparation for ‘the’ party of the year. The concept is genius, celebrate the ‘new year’s eve moment’ every hour on a random day in December.

Buutvrij together with Martini hosted this extraordinary celebration at Doka with champagne and ‘oliebollen’ a plenty. A big clock counted down from 60 to zero, every hour, again and again. (A lot of) free bottles of champagne were distributed to toast on the ‘New Year’, every hour, again and again. Since we were holding a bottle of bubbly in one hand, and a(n overflowing) glass in the other.., we couldn’t take any pictures. We believe this was for the best, because never before did we party this hard. Curious about the party?

Buutvrij has posted some (very charming) pictures of the night on their Facebook page
