Hi there,

I guess the purpose of an ‘about section’ is to tell more about yourself. So for the curious ones that came this far, here goes. My name is Rose. I’m Dutch. 174 centimeters tall and my 9-5 job is Lead Corporate Comms at media company Talpa Network. It’s my fifth role within the network; I joined back in 2016 as Editor-in-Chief, then became Format Lead (2018), Head of Creative Dept (2019) and Head of Strategy (2021). I’m a communication and content specialist helping brands and teams tell impactful stories. As Lead Corp. Comms I focus on our corporate brand strategy and employer branding of Talpa Network.

Before joining Talpa Network I worked at ad agencies Wieden+Kennedy, DDB and TBWA, I co-founded yearly event ADNIGHT, sat on the board of the RA*W Advertisers Foundation and wrote for a few websites/ magazines. You can check me out on LinkedIn if you want the full list.

At times I’m a slight work-a-holic, that's because of everything mentioned on LinkedIn and because I like creating and discovering things.

In the STORIES section you'll find some of my (old) published articles, brain farts and blogs.

With my Olympus OM-1 I get down in the dirt (on the weekends) to capture rare details of nature, mostly fungi. My macro-lens is my bff, but in the PHOTOGRAPHY section you’ll also find some of my abroad adventures. (Can’t wait to visit Kazachstan again.) Follow my visual explorations on my ‘IN DE BOSJES’ insta - it’s pretty magical.

In ‘22 I started DIY’ing, and I capture it to entertain my followers with al my fails (yep, that’s an IKEA handsaw in the photo below.) Follow along on this journey via my personal insta.

In 2020 I published my first novel ‘HET PANDAPUNTEN SPAARSYSTEEM a romantic comedy which was featured by a few big-time magazines. The book is about ‘panda points’… (you get one point for not getting laid for one month).. so yeah it’s about sex. (The cover I illustrated myself).

And to promote my book I started a podcast, ‘De Pandapunten Podcast’, which was featured by my dad’s favourite newspapers, het Parool.
